Happy Tails

Since it opened in August of 2012, Before the Bridge has rescued more than 500 dogs. There have been countless pickups, vet visits, fundraisers, and adoption fairs. There are long days and sad days, but no days better than the ones where a sweet senior dog finds their forever home and family. Here are just a few of ourĀ dogs with a “happy tail” to tell.

Meet SPIKE and ROMPUS, 12 year old Italian Greyhounds. They appear to be very bonded. They are owner relinquish due to owner going into assisted living. These two darlings came into rescue very nervous, as they have lived in a large outside pen with a doggie door to inside for years. So change is a little scary. They have been brought up to date with their vacinnes. They are heart worm negative. Both of these babies have no teeth. They love cuddles and give many kisses. They are scheduled for neuter surgery. Rompus is having an exploratory on a Saliva gland and hopefully it can be removed. These two are very, very sweet.
