Since it opened in August of 2012, Before the Bridge has rescued more than 500 dogs. There have been countless pickups, vet visits, fundraisers, and adoption fairs. There are long days and sad days, but no days better than the ones where a sweet senior dog finds their forever home and family. Here are just a few of our dogs with a “happy tail” to tell.

Say hello to Sonny! He is a 57 pound, 9 year old yellow and cream lab. He is housetrained and loves to be outside. He gets along well with other dogs. He is very affectionate and loves nothing better than being cuddled and pet by his people. Sonny is learning to walk on a leash. With his lovable, gentle nature, he will be a great addition to his forever home.
