Every rescue dog has a unique personality, history, and set of needs. Before adopting, we encourage families to consider the dog's breed, age, temperament, energy level, and care requirements to ensure they are the right fit for your home and lifestyle.
Our Manitoba dog adoption process is designed to create lasting matches between rescue dogs and their new families. Prospective adopters will be asked questions about their home, lifestyle, experience, and expectations. Before the Bridge reserves the right to decline an application if we feel the placement is not the best fit for the dog.
What's Included
BBSK9R's adoption fees include the dog's spay/neuter, vaccinations, heartworm testing and deworming.
- Spay or neuter surgery
- Vaccinations: distemper, parvovirus and rabies
- Heartworm test
- Deworming treatment
- A loving, fully vetted companion
Adoptions are not finalized until the application has been submitted, accepted, and a home visit conducted.
Adoption fees may be paid by cash or e-transfer.

Adopt on a two-week trial - if it's not the right fit, return the dog for a full refund (minus a $25 admin fee).
