Meet Tucker & Miss Roxy — a bonded pair looking for a forever home together!

Sometimes two little dogs come along who just belong together, and Tucker and Miss Roxy are exactly that. These two adorable little characters have formed a special bond and are happiest when they have each other nearby. We are looking for a forever family who understands that adopting Tucker means adopting Roxy too. They are a package deal, and honestly... who could say no to this much cuteness?

Both Tucker and Roxy are crate trained and are doing wonderfully as they work toward being 100% pee-pad trained. They are also discovering one of life's greatest joys: PLAYING! Their zoomies are becoming a regular part of the daily routine, and watching these two enjoy themselves is pretty darn adorable. They each have their own personalities, quirks and little routines, but together they make a wonderful duo who will keep their people smiling.

TUCKER — 7 years old (white & tan) Tucker is a sweet, cuddly little lovebug who wants nothing more than to be beside his person. He is happiest when he can follow his human around and stay close. This little guy is completely toothless, but don't let that fool you - he has no shortage of personality! Tucker LOVES his kibble soaked in water and enjoys long, peaceful naps out on the patio. He also has a rather impressive licking habit - he likes to lick himself, Roxy, and his people. Everyone is apparently fair game! Tucker does have some anxiety and struggles with separation, so he would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time. A retired person or someone who works from home would be ideal.

Tucker is great with small children, good with female dogs, and able to live with male dogs but requires considerable patience and work to settle. Unknown with cats. More than anything, Tucker is a loving little shadow who wants to feel safe, loved and close to his person.

MISS ROXY — 8 years old (dark brown) Miss Roxy is an absolute sweetheart with a serious appreciation for the finer things in life: cuddles, snacks, sunshine and being cozy. If there is a sunny spot on the deck, Roxy will find it. If there is a treat available, Roxy will know about it. And if there is a lap available... well, obviously that's where she belongs. Roxy is VERY food motivated and loves her treats.

She and Tucker have a hilarious little dynamic. Tucker is quite enthusiastic with his kisses, and when Roxy decides she's had enough, she has some creative ways of finding personal space. Her favourite strategies include crawling underneath your T-shirt or burrowing beneath a blanket. Roxy can use puppy stairs to get on and off the couch or bed, but she considers this an absolute last resort. Why walk when a trusted human can simply PICK YOU UP? Roxy does not like stairs or steps and would much rather be carried by a trusted adult.

Roxy is good with small children and wonderful with other dogs, particularly small to medium-sized dogs. Unknown with cats. Roxy does have an important boundary that her forever family must understand and respect: she does not like her legs being touched. It causes her discomfort, and if a child attempts to pick her up or handle her legs, she may nip. Because of this, children in her future home will need to be taught that Roxy's body belongs to her and her boundaries must always be respected.
