Permanent Foster – RIP 2026

Gilly came into permanent foster care on October 4, 2025. Because of her complex medical needs, she wasn’t eligible for a traditional adoption, but that never stopped her from being deeply loved. Permanent fosters are some of the most special dogs we care for — the ones who need extra compassion, extra patience, and someone willing to love them through their final chapter.

For the past nine years, she was cherished and adored by our director, Judy Smith-Hill, who gave her the beautiful life she deserved. Together, they showed us the power of compassion and second chances. Squeakers wasn’t just a survivor—she was an inspiration. A reminder that even in the face of hardship, joy can still be found.

t 8 years young and a perfect 17 lbs, Gigi is the definition of an easy, loving companion. She’s fully house trained and fits beautifully into just about any home—she’s wonderful with kids, cats, and other dogs alike. Truly a go-with-the-flow kind of girl.

This isn’t a dainty senior, this is Zoey, a dog who’s pure muscle and silliness, wrapped up in a red coat, sealed with a seasoned gray mask that tells you she’s lived and learned, but stayed soft and joyful.

Zeke is a sweet 13–15-year-old chubby little guy who’s full of personality and charm. He’s totally quiet — no barking, enjoys all kinds of food, and is house-trained or pee-pad trained. When he needs to go out, he’ll walk right to the door! For his age, he does stairs with no problem.

Breezie is a six-year-old toy poodle with lovely manners, a gentle heart, and a truly charming personality. Fully house-trained and eager to please, she knows her basic commands and happily shows off a few sweet tricks in exchange for nutritious treats.
